I am a Native of Brownwood. Graduated from Brownwood High School. Attended Howard Payne University on Athletic Scholarship and graduated with a BBA. My wife Brenda and I have two children, both grads of BHS, one attended HPU and Tarleton State, and the other attended ACC in Austin and Texas State. Both are married. I have experience in the retail business here in rownwood where I served on the boards of Main Street Project, member of Downtown Brownwood, Inc. and Chamber member. I worked for a local property and casualty agency, and was area manager in San Antonio for GE's Financial Services Division covering most of south Texas. I previously carried securities licenses and property adjusters license, currently a licensed insurance general agent and member of Brownwood Association of Realtors. A native of Brownwood, Roland Graves spent 30 years as a teacher and administrator in the Brownwood Independent School District. Retiring with the schools 4 years ago, he began his 2nd career in real estate.
